If you have trained whole-body movement with your qigong exercises every day
over a sustained period of time, then your body will have
incorporated this
habit.
It is part of how you use your body.
Therefore, in partner work and combat practice, that habit exists already.
You do not need to be thinking about it or exaggerating its use.
If it is not there, look to the basics once more.
