Auras, spirits, special abilities and mystical powers are not what a tai chi person spends their time pursuing.
Nor are certificates, trophies, prestige or 'making a name for yourself'.
Usually when people are seeking to be something special, they are missing the central theme of taoism.
It is important to ask why somebody is like this...
Why this desperate need for approval, to fit it, to be appreciated, applauded?
The cry for attention is really a cry for help.
But in life, help should not always be offered. Sometimes it should be withheld.
